5 Miles, Moderate Pace
Meet at the Sebastopol Plaza at 9:00am
The main trestle bridge on the Joe Rodota Trail crossing the Laguna de Santa Rosa
Meet at the Plaza and walk to the Historical Society museum. We will hear a 5 minute presentation about the Petaluma and Santa Rosa Railroad from a member of the Historical Society. Continuing along the rails-to-trails path to the Sonoma Humane Society, we will be given a private tour of their facility. Return the same way with a discussion of the Laguna Foundation tree planting efforts. Estimate total walking time is three hours. Bring water and a snack. Heavy rain cancels.
Leader: Simon Lowings
