The Harvest Walk, Saturday, October 31, 2015
3.7 miles, easy pace
Meet at the Sebastopol Downtown Plaza at 9 a.m.

This new walk explores Sebastopol’s agricultural history from the town’s viticultural roots, through the eras of the Sebastopol Berry Growers and the Sebastopol Apple Grower’s Union, and back to wine. We’ll begin with a walk through the former processing district in the Barlow, visit surviving farmhouses, drop by Luther Burbank’s Gold Ridge Experiment Farm and return via the site of early vineyards. Along the way, photos and stories will help bring this hidden history to light.

Wear comfortable shoes, bring water and a snack. The walk will end at the plaza by noon.
