Sebastopol to Santa Rosa, Jan. 26, 2013 — Walk Report

Walk leader Sarah Gurney reports:
We had an enthusiastic group of 15 and lovely sunny weather as we walked the 7+ miles to downtown Santa Rosa via our Rodota Trail and the Prince Greenway.  Three walkers ventured about 1/3 of the distance and returned to Sebastopol on foot.  The twelve remaining arrived in Santa Rosa with ample time to enjoy lunch in several different spots in Railroad Square and Old Courthouse Square, including cupcakes and coffee, then regrouped at the Transit Mall for a quick ride home. For most, it was our first ride on public transportation in Sonoma County.
Many thanks to Richard for leading the walk!  It was helpful to all to know that he and Brenda had done this trip several times.
